Register for Holistic Therapy The Practitioner Register for Holistic Therapies is open to all Practitioners, which have achieved the standard set by the association. The association sets a Code of conduct and a grievance procedure.

The Practitioner Register for Holistic Therapy -
PRHT covers therapists qualified in Aromatherapy, Massage, Reiki, Reflexology Any other or new form of therapy must be checked and accepted by PRHT. The following information needs to be presented before acceptance can be granted for a new therapy if it is not QCA accredited ¨ The applying individual has to provide the following information: o Therapy’s syllabus content o Scheme of work o Duration of course o Internal or external verifying body o Amount of Case studies to be presented and sample documentation ¨ The applying individual must hold a current basic anatomy and physiology qualification and have performed and documented at least 20 case studies (ie. 5clients 4 times). Individuals having only completed a weekend course in a therapy will not be considered for membership. ¨ The applying individual is required to read, agree to adhere to and sign the BCMA’s Code of Conduct. ¨ The applying individual would need to prove that they had maintained their CPD file consistently, gaining the required 20 points per year. ¨ If The PRHT Chairperson is in doubt as to whether the individual meets the criteria, a personal interview will be arranged in order for a decision to be made. This decision will be verified by the PRHT Panel, consisting of 3 elected PRHT members. If further doubt persists, the Council will be approached.
